Well, it is about time I joined the growing list of Eclipse committers who have an Eclipse Blog. So this is it. Not much interesting for a first post, but it is a start.
I am a senior software developer at IBM in Kanata, Ontario, Canada. I am a full time committer on the Eclipse Orion Open Source project. I am also the lead for the Eclipse modeling projects EMF Transaction, EMF Validation, EMF Query, GMF Notation and GMF Runtime projects. I am also the committer responsible for the creation of Tabbed Properties View in the Eclipse platform.
My real job is contributing to the software development products at IBM used to architect, design, and develop software and systems. My latest product is IBM DevOps Services for Bluemix. Develop and deploy apps in the cloud. Find us at hub.jazz.net. I have historically contributed to WebSphere Studio Application Developer, IBM Rational XDE, Rational Software Architect and Design Management at Jazz.net. I have been actively working with the Eclipse platform since before its inception, around 2000 (remember when it was called etools at IBM?).
